Locked In. December 2007. The village of Abiquiu, Northern New Mexico. This village is where Georgia O'Keeffe made her permanent home in the 40's. I was driving on the muddy back roads when I came across this lonely horse. I stayed awhile, tuning into the silence of the hills, surrounded by the very land that captured O'Keeffe's imagination.
