Fresh Snow

I took these photos while driving through Hadley early Saturday morning (Feb.27th). The snow had been falling all night, the roads had just been cleared, and there was no one outside, apart from an occasional snow plower here and there. The blur in a couple of the images (and those I must admit are my favorites) is from me actually *driving* while taking them. I'm glad I didn't run into any cops! They were probably all still at Dunkin Donuts! If I ever move away from this place, I will miss its tobacco barns, open fields and snow!

A small technical detail: I use Nikon D80 with Nikon DX AF-S Nikkor 18-135mm lens (I love if for its versatility, although a VR (vibration reduction) feature would be beautiful to have!), and sometimes also a Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8 D lens. (which I love for the crispness and lightness of the images it produces, and for its speed.. not to mention its light weight! :-)

Mīļā Steph, so good to hear from you! I *thought* i saw something fly by my window.. so, it was you, being blown away! :) The wonderland lasted but a day or two, and now it seems we are heading towards some serious spring (which hopefully won't be so serious)
bučiņas!
